Laura Ashley Gallagher was born and raised in Limerick, Ireland, where she spent most of her childhood studying music and scribbling down stories she was too shy to show anyone. She fell in love with romance early—stories about complicated people, big emotions, and love that feels both messy and magical.
After studying journalism, Laura turned her passion for storytelling into a career and now writes romantic comedies and emotional, character-driven romances. She is the author of nine published books, including The Plus One Contract, If Love Had a Manual, Meet Me in the Dark, and several interconnected series filled with humor, heartache, and happily ever afters.
When she isn’t writing, Laura is with her husband and son, drinking far too much coffee, laughing at memes she shouldn’t find as funny as she does, or planning her next over-ambitious book schedule.
